No 1.  Micro Shears

Have you discovered mirco shears?

Do you remember when your Dad used to carry a penknife around in his pocket? Well, these are the modern equivalents.

They are small, so fit in your pocket. They are cheap (range from £7 - £25) and most importantly snip through anything.

Anyone who has outside space, has hobbies or likes to bring foliage back from a walk need these.

Note: They make great gifts !

No 2.  Microfibre Cloths

These microfibre cloths are mostly advertised for polishing cars.  You see them for sale on Amazon and in car or DIY stores etc.

Well these inexpensive cloths are actually very good for cleaning your vintage and antique furniture.  They are gentle, yet very effective if you need to just dust the furniture or apply new wax.  Use one to apply and one to buff it.  You shouldn't be using furniture polish, but if you do at least use these cloths to rub the surfice afterwards.

These cloths aren't just for cars!
